I need HELP! Friendship question!?
I am friends with a girl who gets super mad easily and holds a grudge until you say sorry even if you didn’t do anything. Anyway, I was her science fair project partner. We got together everyday for about at least 6 hours. And today it is due so yesterday I went over at 6:00 and left at 10:00 cause my mum wouldn’t let me stay any longer. All that was left was to glue the title and I had to leave so she did it. BUt now she wont talk to me and is complaining she did it ALL and was up to 1:00 in the morning. I typed out EVERYTHING, glued the border on and cut out the paper. All she did was glue!

My mom told me to find a new friend but she is my best friend and I can’t just leave, it just can’t work for me. I don’t have the heart!

What should I do, please help!

Are you witty? I need help with my character…?
So i’ve got this character, he isn’t my main character but he is still quite important. He is clever, witty, eccentric, mischievous and dramatic. I just can’t think of what he would say, like what dialogue to put in for him even though i know the character very well in my head. He’s sort of inspired by Johnny Quid, the character from the movie RocknRolla with the way he used metaphors and long philosophical speeches.

If anyone has any suggestions which would help me that would be great. Also, including examples would be amazing. Thanks.

I think your solution is to actually read books which have a witty character. Also, intelligent people are often troubled, like JQ. Poor health, poor decisions. It’s hard to tap into that side of yourself, but you have to do that as well. (I’m not telling you to drink or do drugs, though!! lol)

You’ve got a character built up to in your head but you can’t think what he would say? Well, that’s tough.

Get rid of him. Generate another character that naturally speaks to you, instead of a weak derivative of Guy Ritchie’s. Watch some Comedians. Stewart Lee would be good. Read Catch 22. If you do know who your character is, there really should be no trouble in discovering what he or she would say.

For him being eccentric why not make him use lots of dramatic hand gestures when explaining things. I know what you mean with the Johnny Quid thing, like when he gives the long speech on why he cannot give up the painting. I don’t know though, just think about it for a while. You can make or buy one. To buy one simply go to a dealer, pick one out from stock or have it ordered, pay for it ($400-$800). The dealer will supply you with the ATF form 4, form 5330.20 and finger print cards. Get the ATF form 4 signed by the local sheriff and attach your passport sized photos to the back of the form. Send the forms to the ATF, wait about 4 months for approval (it is routine) then go to the dealer and bring home the silencer. You must be 21 to buy from a dealer, 18 to buy from non-dealer in your state or to make one.

To make one, it is nearly the same, except the ATF form 1 is used and you can not make any parts until the ATF form is returned approved. You can not make extra or replacement parts (except wipes) for any silencer you make or own unless you pay another $200 tax or obtain a license. A licensed class 2 manufacture can make repairs.

A lengthy pursuit of a pickup truck throughout west Phoenix Tuesday morning ended when police trapped the vehicle and took into custody 13 men on board, all of them suspected illegal immigrants. Eight of them were hidden under plywood in the truck’s bed
, authorities said.

The pursuit lasted more than 30 minutes and stretched some 10 miles as the driver tried to elude officers using the freeway and surface streets. At one point, the truck nearly struck a motorcycle officer, officials said.
Phoenix police and state Department of Public Safety officials say two of the men exchanged roles as driver during the pursuit. The two were arrested and face charges of felony flight and human trafficking.

The other 11 suspects were turned over to U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement. Phoenix Police Officer James Holmes, a department spokesman, said the passengers in the truck were shaken up but no one was hurt.

The incident began around 6:30 a.m. when a DPS officer tried to pull the truck over along westbound Interstate 10, near 32nd Street, for tailgating and driving erratically, Holmes said. The truck stopped but drove off as the officer approached the driver, authorities said.

Authorities stopped pursuing the truck during parts of the incident, especially after it exited the interstate. The truck finally came to a halt at 104th Avenue and Miami Street, south of Buckeye Road, just after 7 a.m. Holmes said officers were able to trap the truck and take everyone inside into custody.

I am honestly not sure whether welcoming strangers is essential to the Catholic faith as a whole but it is essential to certain orders of monks and nuns. The idea is to offer shelter, safety, and food to anyone who comes in need. If police or authorities come searching for someone who has committed a crime the monk or nun is not to lie to them and in most cases is required to hand them over to authorities except for in extreme circumstances. Extreme circumstances of note in the past have been when monks and nuns in Europe gave shelter and fake baptismal certificates to Jews to hide them from the Nazis as well as in Russia or other countries where a person really had committed a crime but the monks or nuns knew the person would be tortured and executed.

In short, it is dependent upon the conscience of the individual.
